Nice! Is that a advertising sign or something that went on a tank of gas or pump or something like that? Either way it's a pretty cool find!

It looks like a lighter. It's missing the top like mine was. I later found the top.

I believe Canadian Bottles is correct as it has a mounting hole in both side edges, and its curved like onto a tank or pump......

I agree with it being an early pump sign. A bit large to be a lighter. Great find, Swiz!
