Not sure about the age but if you're going to clean that then use barkeepers friend. I ruined the red paint on a canada dry spur bottle with luke warm water and dawn dish liquid. Also someone mentioned that if its a freshly dug bottle then set it out in the sun for 2 or 3 days to dry the paint back out before you try cleaning it. I'd hate to see you rub off a pretty label and take away from the value of your bottle. Swiz
It is a Kist bottle. Probably from the 1950s. Look on bottom at the numbers and you might be able to tell the year. Not great value cleaned up and good shape about a $4 bottle.
