did some research and it turns out there was a busy railway station not far from where i live during 1900's- 1940's era . the train tracks are still there and active but railway station torn down in the 1960's . there also used to be a couple variety stores and hotels nearby , they all either burnt down or were torn down . except for one of the variety stores that is still open today . some of the area is private property or simple no where to look . but there is an acre or 2 of bush / grass that is rate near where it used to be and goes along the tracks . i went poking thru there a couple times and found a few things but no sign of a large dump yet or any bottles from era when it was busy . so not sure if i'm looking in the right spot or if there just isn't alot there .

some of my finds from first day . broken brown's beverage 10 oz bottle , pepsi NDNR bottle , 2 really common clear dominion insulators , one sort of light purpleish actually

on the second time i walked thru the area i went thru a wooden area along a small road that leads from tracks to where the variety store is today . i found some old rusty cans and metal pails throw in the bush and a couple bottles .
one is a clear prescription mixing bottle , very common i think , no markings on the bottle as to who made it .

also found a local acl ginger ale bottle , it was very well hidden under some old metal maybe a box spring from a mattress and a couple inches of dirt but its not broken and glass in great condition . label has alot of wear . main label is very worn but other 3 areas are in good shape . it likely would of been sold at local variety store and then got throw in the bush , don't think it has anything to do with station .

its for Muskoka Dry ginger ale and be from 50's - 60's era , fairly common bottle for this area , becoming less common to find . first not broken one i've found in last couple of years . found one last fall broken in another part of town and a another broken one by the river .

back of the bottle is in better shape , you can tell its an older muskoka dry bottle based on some markings on the bottle . if it says for 80 years its an older acl , is also a newer bottle that looks the same but says 100 years its much less valuable and not collectable .
