Was doing some canning today and decided to do a pickling recipe that has been in my family for well[/b]over a 125 years now. Cauliflower, Bell peppers, Onions and green tomatoes...all of us kids called it Grandpa' Mix[/b][/b]back in the days. Always a holiday favorite many years back when carving the Christmas ham. Old Polish family![/b] I still use the bailwire jars to can with, they work just fine and have never had a problem. These are Ball Ideal jars with dropped "a".... they will be opened around Christmas time....[/b] David [/b]

David, those look yummy - you wanna share that recipe?I like to can green beans in the old Ball Special and Kerr Wide Mouth jars. My mom's old pressure canner holds a double layer, so I can process 16 jars at a time. -Tammy
