Greetings all,
Ggrounds not thawing anytime soon around here..... Hope everyone is well.
I was looking for a forum to get some additional info on this Master Ink I picked up a few months back.
She has a nice brown mirror glaze, at least 7 banded rings just under the shoulder, a pinched spout and some stamped letters? half way around the heel (can't make any of them out). She is 8" tall X 3" base. Finally the bottom is unglazed and there is like a "potters" finish mark, center-bottom. Remins me of a (Nipple) can we say Nipple??
Anyway any help or direction would be appreciated. Lisa

WOW!! That was a record time. Thank you so much. Is that yours? It looks MINT!! Label and all. Would you happen to know anything more about it? Mine is probably 1/5 the value of yours as it is. Thank you so much, I truly appreciate it. Lisa

Hey Lisa, most of the stone inks were imported from England, the early one's were used as balast in sailing ships.
In later years bottles, books and stoneware were used as filler in containers of imported antiques.
The Master Inks were used over & over.

Dave.
