Besides selling knives and meeting new clients/vendors.I always wander around and check out each booth. There's always something just lying there that I want. Which means I call the wife and ask if I can spend money on it.....A new couple had a table across from ours and I took a walk over to see what they had. I saw a cigar box full of old pocket knives. Some a bit rusty/tarnished, some way beyond help. I picked up these 4 for 5$:A Ranger LB 125An Imperial folder from when they were still made in the U.S. orange-ish semi-transparent..haven't hunted this one down yet.A Ward's USA knife stockman bovine. Camillus, Winchester, Utica and a few other companies made knives for Ward's.This one is my fave of the four. Not a super common find.A Utica.

What is your general opinion of "Old Timer" knives? Collectible or too common? We, my Son and I, picked one up while looking through fishing gear at an estate sale pre sale.

They're pretty sweet. If it says usa or schrade usa or imperial usa or something similar, that's a very well made knife.they stopped being made in the U.S. in 2004. I forgot how much I love pocket knives until I got these. used to always have one with me and a Swiss Army was always close by.These are almost all cleaned up now. Just a bit of oxidation that I'm going to polish out later today...If the blades are a bit rusty/gunky, I can help you with cleaning them up.

Iron, I used to set up at the Gun shows for probably 12-15 years. Added many knives to my collection. Always fun to set up and wheel and deal with my fellow dealers. Had many great times at the shows around the state (none in the UP though). Have some nice Case trappers (my favorite design), and love the fixed blades.

Nice pick ups, I have the Ward's in my small but growing knife collection.
