I hope I'm not posting another thread too soon after my first one, but I'm so excited to find out what this tiny glass bottle could be. Found in West Creek in Parma, Ohio. I believe there used to be an old dump here as I am finding loads of river glass, pottery shards, and even full bottles.

This bottle is about an inch and a half tall and probably about half an inch wide. The seam goes all the way to the lip, so it is probably machine-made. It has textured "ruffles" on the sides. No marks on the bottom. I think it used to have a cap that screwed on.

I am in awe by how little it is; I gasped when I found it. What could it have been used for? I can't imagine it can hold much liquid.

Hard to know exactly, but I'd guess some type of perfume/eau de toilet/cologne. That's what I usually categorize any small bottles like that as.

That is small! I agree, not much that it could be apart from perfume, likely a fairly expensive one. The decoration rules out medicine or some sort of utilitarian product which are the only other things you usually see in bottles that small.

Based on the screw top, to me it looks like a pre-1950s bottle. It's probably 1920s-30s based on your last find. You can tell based on the thickness and style of the thread. Any base marks?

From out of left field...
Why do I think this might be a smelling salts bottle?
