Todays finds from a new 1930s dump

I went to a dump site today that I found this winter. I was able to find a 28-ounce Country Club bottle, a Hebe Co soda bottle, an Old Quaker whiskey, and a Rawleigh's. Lots of broken milk bottles too.

No beer cans yet. I figured I'd find some, the dump is like 80% whisky bottles so I know they liked alcohol.

My first find ever was a turn-mold whiskey bottle that I stumbled across while deer hunting. That got me into deliberately searching for bottles, at first, just randomly looking for old dump sites in second growth forests that had once been populated with scattered homesteads.

When I found a clutch of embossed "Old Quaker" quarts in a small 1930's dumpsite in a swale I was truly hooked. I have one those flasks too, but can't recall now if recovered from that same site or found later and elsewhere.
