some other finds. how do you guys decide what to keep? there are so many bottles that i left there and space is becoming limited at home. milks definetly come home. jugs come home. what do you guys do when you come accross the old heinz and other food jars? also what about the really small ones with no embossing?

hers a few close ups. the jugs i think you can read. the others are from left to right..the milk reads milliken's tuberculin tested dairy morrisville pa. the second reads dr. chapins muscletone. some of the label remains and it seems it was kinda like ben gayish. the lat reads widemouth telephone jar.
heading back in the morning. seems 3 inches of rain today will put a hamper on your digging.

CB,
lOVE those jugs, very nice finds you have there.I generally keep all embossed milks,
local stuff, embossed soda's and meds. As far as the small unembossed, i only keep them if they are a very odd color or shape and then only if they are pre 1910.

The John Burd jug is really nice Chris, I love the stoneware stuff. Usually when I dig up a crock or jug it has a crack or handle is missing. []Looks like you found a mid 1920's dump. The Western jug is very common, I feel the Trenton jug would be worth $50 if it is perfect shape. Maybe more to a NJ stoneware collector. Pettydigger
