Hey Everyone,I think most of the bottles I am fixing to show/describe are after 1900 but I scored today in a local antique shop. A few months back I was wandering around and picked up a box of bottles for $10. All of them were embossed and the oldest one was from the late 1800s. I have gone back a few times and nothing :( Then today something tells me to go and when I went I found two more boxes of embossed bottles! (This is an antique shop where people rent spaces to sell stuff so the bottle seller replenished). I also got my first Missouri and Iowa bottles. I got all of these for $20. I scored my first embossed poison and first embossed veterinarian medicine. If you have any info on the bottles please let me know! Here we go: *Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera, & Diarrhoea Remedy, Des Moines, IA, USA (misspelled)*Baby Ease*Harper's Cuforhedake Brain Food, Washington DC*Worrell's Insect Exterminator, Sedalia, MO.*H. Clay Glover, D.V.S, Glover's Imperial Mange Remedy, New York*Dr. Bell's Pine Tar Honey for Coughs and Colds (Think i already have this one)*Sloan's N & B Liniment, Boston*Hagan's Magnolia Balm*The Name St. Joseph's Assures Purity*24 Hour Fever Cure Guaranteed*Hick's Capudine for all Headaches, Colds, Gripp, etc.*Capudine*The Mayfield Medicine Manufacturing Co. Inc, St. Louis, Mo.*Peroxide of Hydrogen*Parker's Hair Basalm, New York*Miniature Bottle, stamped Japan [attachment=IMG_1505.JPG] [attachment=IMG_1506.JPG] [attachment=IMG_1507.JPG]

Others will probably disagree but I think you did fine. Most are very common and would be tough to get your money out of, assuming you were to try and sell them, but a few are worthwhile. I would give you $10 for the Brain Food. The insect exterminator is neat also.

Good finds for $20. Being an exterminator I would be interested in the *Worrell's . If you want to part with it! I'm open to trade or buy. Mitch

Thanks everyone! I like finding deals like this and "quack" meds. I know some of them were common and some didn't have the names of doctors on them but I will go back some more and see if I can get anymore :)
