Here's a rare cure up for sale on Ebay, a TREMAINE'S CURE FOR INEBRIETY OPIUM AND MORPHINE. Already up to $1125 with 6 days to go.

I've never heard of this one, anybody else ever seen one?

Matt has a some info at his medicine forum:

I think Phil said he had one before? The Balto one maybe?
Seller says its unlisted but he would be wrong there, maybe he only looked in Kovel's [;)]

Just saw it! wow there's #2. It'll be interesting to see how much it goes for.
The price is higher than the one l had sold for.

That's a cool one. What book is it listed in? I couldn't find it in Agee's or Baldwins.

That is a killer bottle and much more interesting than most pontiled stuff, due to the totally sweet embossing. Wish I could dig a crate of those brown beauties.

I've actually seen an example of this bottle in an advanced collection of cures. I'd expect it to sell for a crazy price. For a later bottle it sure has alot going for it.

I 've often thought about how much the advanced guys would be willing to pay. The alligator bottles go big 5 or 6 K for the last one sold.

Realy cool bottle. I wonder how you cure inebriety? Caffeine? My guess is that it contained cocaine.

Phil, I think we discussed this one before. I think the example I seen was the one you dug and sold. The fact he already has one will keep the price down some but I still think it should bring more than the swamp cures with the gators.
