Two Rare Blob Top "Steamer" Sodas Acquired

I was able to add a pair of nice blob top "steamer" sodas at last nights club meeting. The bottles are Carson & Shanks Balto,.MD. as well as Jos. H. Schmidt & Co. Baltimore, MD. They are both considered rare; especially the Schmidt with the large open star in the slug plate. I have only seen 2 others of that one. Got the pair for a good price too, I think that puts me over 100 different Baltimore blob top "steamers...

All of the Jos. H. Schmidt bottles are considered rare, but I have seen quite a few of the closed star; but hardly ever the older style with the open star. I now have the pair and they display great together. Here is the picture comparing the two.
