Here are two flasks I recently found, one turning colors and the other was found under a house. One is a registered the other a warranted. Shouldn't the other begin to change if I leave it in the window for the sun? Here is a WJ Tyson Jr. whiskey from Norfolk, Virginia. Anyone know when this bottle was made? Looks as if it may be turning colors just a hair also so I'm guessing that would make it a pre 1915 bottle.

Hi Dustin,
Since I can no longer afford the paid genealogy sites, I can only tell you that William J. Tyson Jr. was born c1880 and doesn't show up in Norfolk, VA until the 1910 Census.
The census is taken every 10 years, so he could have moved to Norfolk anytime between 1901 and 1910.
he doesn't appear to be on the 1920 census either.

You have gotta love those med shaped whiskeys.

I can see it know..........Some old goober sittin in church and suddenly........loudly.........he fakes a cough. Out comes the medical elixir and a couple of swigs later the cough is majically gone along with any since of reality..... [sm=rolleyes.gif] ......That is until his wife elbows the crap out of him to stop him from snoring.

As if he had anyone fooled.....[&:]
