Hi all, I have been working over in NH for the last couple months and man has it ever been hard driving! So many old cellar holes and dump prospects I can hardly keep my eyes on the road![sm=rolleyes.gif] I have been finding all of the usual old good stuff like Rawleighs, Blob top sodas Various ground lip masons and the like but these ones dont look to overly common to me, what do you think are they keepers? The first bottle is a Circassion Hair bottle with cathedral like arches and a log cabin like roof, the other is a pontled James Kidder Jr from East Boston I think that one is probally a early master ink...... I hope you are all having a great start to the summer I know I am! Happy Digg'n all.... Taz

And finally a large jagged open pontil with a pushed up base!

Taz, nice stuff, watch for mooses too, they are running this time of the year, I use to travel alot, from keene, NH to all over New England, building houses 15 years ago, I would stop all the time on the ride home, if I saw something, that area should have a ton of spots[:)]

Hey Taz...

I like that little hair oil... If you want to part with it, let me know...

I've got its older cousin with an O.P.... Supposed to be pricey but I got no offers on ebay last week!

Great bottles Taz. The Kidder is super clean for an op. Been skunked lately down here in Texas. Just a bunch of commons. Keep up the great work. Robert

I would guess the Kidder bottle may be related to the Mrs E Kidder DYSENTERY CORDIAL BOSTON. Maybe a son or nephew? It looks like a sauce bottle but may be medicinal with the Kidder name. There are non-pontil versions of that bottle.
Is there other embossing on the circassian bottle? There are a bunch of different circassian bottles. There is a pontil marked Circassian Hair Oil that is pretty rare, worth at least $400.
