I was able to acquire this very neat Old Homestead Dairy Baltimore, MD pint milk bottle for a good price. These bottles are not in anyway rare, but they usually command a decent price because of the neat house embossed on the bottle. This is a 1923 example. Here is a picture.

And the back side. It is also unusual having the permit number in an oval rather than a circle. This was my Christmas present to myself [:D]

I like it I have a few similar in name which are 1/2 Pints from "The Homestead Dairy" but in Hot Springs, VA (This was most likely the earliest homestead" Originated in 1766 as Thomas Jeffersons "Homestead"

Love the pictorial milks as well as other bottles . I had eight or ten pictorial milks up till about five years ago , started selling them off little by little . I was always interested more in the pictorial sodas and still have a good many of them . Thanks for posting these up , I have enjoyed viewing them .

Thanks for looking everyone. I really like the pictorial milks. I have one with a cow, one with a horseshoe, one with an apple, and now this one with the homestead.

Very cool! I dug a shard of a pictorial Mother's Dairy once. Should have kept the shard...
