Very sad day today

Many of you might know already, but there was a shooting at the Navy Yard in DC this morning. So far, the press has released that 12 people were killed in this horrible event. Let's pray for the victims and their families. It is so saddening that we see these things occur way too often.

It's not necessarily the wackos that are the problem; I believe that society has evolved into a form that is extremely dissonant with innate human nature. Some people can function in this contrived and artificial framework full of hypocrisy and iniquity, but others are broken by it. Fix society and 95% of such unacceptable tragedies will be avoided. Fat chance though. The gears that make this broken world go round are greased with the blood and despair of those incapable of accepting the evils necessary to keep the uncaring juggernaut of exploitative capitalism rolling along at its unsustainable pace. Anyone who can't see this truth has already been incorporated into the machine as one of millions of expendable cogs; ignorant by necessity, otherwise the whole unnatural system would collapse under its own obscene weight.
