Vicksburg,Miss show

The Vicksburg,Miss bottle show is next Saturday(Aug. 11) at the Battlefield Inn,Its a small show,around 40 tables I believe. Really looking forward to it.

That's about a 2 1/2 hour drive for me. If it is a nice day I may make the trip up that way.

I was very disappointed in this show. I had quit coming to it because the show was in such a small room and less people were coming. Then last year I heard it was a really good show so I decided to come back. I had a better time at the local antique stores and flea markets. There weren't hardly any good bottles and the people always ask rediculous prices for their stoneware. I have decided, once again, not to come back to this show. The Jackson show in January is by far the best I have been to, I wish we could just have a show their twice a year.

I ended up going to my brother-in-law's and picking 15 gallons of muscadines so I did not make it to Vicksburg. Kind of glad I didn't now.
