WANTED -- BUY or TRADE

1/2 ounce embossed pharmacy bottle from every state, capitol preferred. Slight chip damage and / or stain accepted. I am starting a sub-specialty and will appreciate your help. I will trade any of my duplicates from your state and trade better quality bottles for multiple bottle offerings. I will buy any in quantity regardless of state. Jim, I may have a 1/2 Oklahoma City druggist. If I remember right it does have a lip chip or something wrong with it. You can have it for 8 bucks if you want it. I probably have some more, wait, the ole brain is beginning to work, I have one from Denver. It's in good shape and would be 10 bucks. Can't remember any other capital ones but I do have one from Laramie, Wyo. that has a little damage, a lip chip and chip on the base. I may have some more but will have to look when I get back home. I collect picture druggists and western bottles if you want to trade anything. Stephen

Jim, got laid off at work (work in the oilfield) and had to shove bottles to the side for a while. Still looking for work but am hopeful about a job interview here in a couple days. I have not had time to look for any bottles yet. I used to collect 1/2 ounce druggists and had about 50 of them but, for some reason, decided to sell them off. I have a 1/2 ounce extra from Waukegan, Ill. that I dug myself and a very rare 1/4 ounce size one from Waukegan. Also, a 1/4 size one from Niles, Mich. As time goes on I may be able to tease some more bottle facts from my brain. Stephen

Dog-gone-it! Life does get in the way sometimes doesn't it. I would dearly love to own a 1/4 ounce embossed pharmacy bottle. I have heard they exist but don't remember ever even seeing one. I have embossed bottles that hold a quarter ounce or less but not one with a local pharmacist name and town. If anyone else is reading this I will buy or trade for one.I will send up a prayer that you are successful in finding work. Jim

The 1/4 ounce from Waukegan I would want 35 for it. Very rare, I am the only Waukegan bottle collector to have any (that I know of anyway). The one from Niles I do not have a picture of. It is basically the same shape but has one word on each side. Would want only 10 bucks for it. I can trade also.
