Hello Staunton Dan, a fellow bottle forum member said that you might be a good source of picture druggists or colored ones and here you have left a post on my thread. Kind of works out. So, do you have anything that I might like?

I have dug a lot of local medicines but the one shown is the only pictured druggist you might be interested in that I can remember. The only others are mortar and pestle which you say that you don't want. I have also dug one with apothecary scales and wreath on the bottle. Here is one of only 2 cities that I know of that had a cobalt blue local medicine in the state of Virginia. I have dug only 4 through the years. I will be keeping this one but if you are interested, I will set the next one I find aside for you.

I love the color on the cobalt one Dan (but I can't make out the picture on it).

Oldtimer - that tulip is super cool. I love it!

Stephen. Your list of wanted bottles is impressive. You must have been at this for awhile to have such a specific idea of what is out there. I don't know about most of them (and I am from Wisconsin!) but I know for certain that Young & Pellet from Oconomowoc is just about impossible to get (and if you found one there would be a line of people wanting to buy it). There is also an embossed eagle on an Oconomowoc med and an Owl too, I think. Both of those are extremely rare . . .

No picture just cobalt blue. A cobalt blue medicine with a logo also would have to be kinda special and extremely rare indeed.

Hello Stephen,
Here is a rare picture druggist that I have in my state capital collection. Tallahassee, Fla., is one of the rarer state capitals and hard to get.
In answer to your question about Arkansas picture druggist, I've only mortar & pestle pictures from Arkansas, but I'll check around for you.

Thanks,
Dean

Dean, I saw this bottle on eBay but it was way out of my league price wise. It has the reverse slug plate also. The Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Territory drug is a decent picture drug, it has a wreath around a pestle & mortar. I have a medium sized storage unit and have looked at about 90% of the boxes for the OKC. I have found the other three and I am sorry for taking a while to find the last one. We had snow for two days and I just holed up on the couch and now I am sick. What a week. I asked about the Orange Crush Bottling Works Morrillton, Ark. crown bottle that is old with embossing in a slug plate. Have you seen it before?

Stephen,
The Orange Crush on the right was dug regularly back in the 1970's but I haven't been seeing them very often lately. Value about $15 to $20. The Tip Top Orange Crush, also embossed from Morrilton, Ark., on base is much harder to get. There is another Orange Crush in deco style and dated 1920 that is common from Morrilton. Although Morrilton had a hutch, the earliest Coke bottle from there is the 1915 hobbleskirt. You will probably receive your bottles the first of the week if you haven't received them yet. I'm looking forward to getting the territory druggist from you.

Thanks,
Dean

Thank you very much oldtimer. I really like the one from California with the oranges on it. I like the other one also but I will try to get the Cal. Hope it does not go for too much.
