Sausalito Drug was the precursor to Owl Drug.

Not sure I understand this statement. Didn't Owl Drug come well before Sausalito Drug (according to the dates you list)?

TOC small-town embossed druggist bottles can be quite rare and in most cases non-existent.
Take my amber glass "Dr. E.H. Durgin/Cupertino, Cal." druggist bottle for example. Cupertino destroyed all of its "historic" buildings and paved over the old "cross roads" years ago. Cupertino embossed bottles are as rare as hens' teeth.

Thanks for your reply although cryptic.I probably should havee stated that Ssausalito Drug co was partnered with Owl drug-like most small private drugstores were.
There are several examples of the bottle.I just want onee example since my husbands grandfather owned thee drugsstore from 1926-1952.
