I don't really collect flasks but I thought this one was cool and it was cheap too so I picked it up. It's embossed: "Wedding Boquet / Rye / Walter Moise & Co. / Distillers / Omaha, Neb.". The word "bouquet" is misspelled on the flask, spelled "boquet". It appears to be very early ABM, with bubbles and other imperfections throughout. It has a screw top with a ground lip, and it's missing the cap. Looks like a half pint size. I've been able to find an example or two of similar flasks online from the same company, but I've found almost nothing about this flask. Does anybody know how rare this flask is? Also, anyone have an approximate value? Thanks![attachment=IMG_2441.JPG][attachment=IMG_2444.JPG]

If it has a ground top on the screw-threads then it is blown, not ABM. Out here in the "West" we love embossed flasks. I'm surprised whiskey flasks aren't more popular in other parts of the bottle collecting country. I miss the posts of the Texas diggers/collectors. What was his forum alias? Jaysemporium? Haven't seen a good Texas post in many moons...

Thanks for the info Jason. Robert, I think that's just the table it was on reflecting the light from the window, because in person the inside is perfectly clear.

Hi Jonathan,Nice flask! It is definitely BIM, virtually any bottle with a ground lip is even though the mold seam appears to go straight to the top. A flask like this would likely date from 1900-1919.

I would doubt a professional company would misspell a product to save some room on a bottle.
