Weird Little Bottle

Does anyone know what this might be?

Very dark amber that you can see through when held to the light. It measures 5-½ inches tall x 2-¼ inch diameter at the base x 1-inch diameter at the top. Has a screw top with the seam running all the way to the top lip. Bottom is embossed with 19 (?) 88 and 18 BW-1.

Hello lizard, I am sure that the bottle is no doubt for some type of hot sauce like product.
I also know that the mold seam must come up and over the finish. There is a transfer lip over the six ribs and it has a CT (Continuous Thread) finish. These things tell me it is an product from an ABM (Automatic Bottle Machine). A picture of the bottom would no doubt tell you the job #, the bottle maker company, the plant and the year made.
In any event bottles are always an identity challenge, regarding method of manufacture, year of production etc Enjoy the hobby. RED Matthews.

Ok, my wife tonight at the grocery store has solved the mystery. It is called Kitchen Bouquet and is a thickening/browning agent. It has been around since about 1860 when it came in an aqua bottle till present day in a plastic bottle. This bottle is maybe 1960/70 era.
