What do I have here? Whiskey?

I found this bottle in Northern California recently. In a creek bank. I am a complete novice. Any info would help. I love the bottle. Just know nothing about it!

Looks like a beer bottle from the 1890's. The C.S.W. embossing is interesting...I've seen hutch sodas with the same embossing that stood for Chico Soda Works.

The form definitely says beer.

Definitely appears to be a blob top beer from the TOC. Late 1890's - early 1900s. However, I have no idea what CSW is.

Makes sense. I found it about 20 miles north of Chico, Ca. Thanks for the heads up
