its about 4 inches tall 1- 1/2 inches across has an oblong diamond shape in a circle the tips of the diamond come out past the edge of the circle in the center of that there is either a 1 or a l
then there is a 1 or l under that

That's an Owen Illinois mark and that should be an I in center not a one,
1929 to 1954.

i didn't have my measurements right i beleive its to small to be a beer i changed the measurements on my post please look at it again

Hi Preator I can't be sure, someone else would be better at that than me, but will take a guess that it could be held by something under that round lip.
