A friend of mine brought up an embossed Pepsi that I'm guessing is 1940-1970-ish today. I gave her this link, but since I know some people collect only Pepsi, is there a specific website that folks recommend?

Hi ronvae -
Most, but not all, Pepsi collectibles that are pictured on websites are sort of more modern and reproduction in a way. Like many bottles, locale is very important. I have a page set up with my local Pepsi finds, but this won't help you. We (Pepsi collectors) mainly use both of James C. Ayers' books for reference and to ID certain bottles. Find out what bottle it is and someone who has the books, myself and others, will try to locate it in the books, if possible. Most of the Red, White and Blue ACLs from the forties won't be listed as far as city. This is where the locale is considered as far as value, rarity, etc. Good luck.
