I am digging up a farm implement in the woods, but I don't know what it is. I was hoping someone could help me out.. I uploaded a few different pictures of what I've un-dug so far, if anyone could shed some light on what this is, that would be great.

Thanks, guys. It never occurred to me that it could have been drawn by a horse.

Thank you, Dugout. I finally found out it is a Blackhawk corn planter. I doubt if it was pulled by horses, the wheels are two small.

The horse drawn ones usually do have larger wheels and the one you found has a tractor hitch.
A lot of folks are familiar with the horse drawn seed drills..they had the big long wooden box and lots of blades off the bottom. They were used for drilling (planting) wheat, oats, and such. There for awhile folks bought them up and tore the seed box off the back and made benches out of them.
You can still see the corn planters, similar to your but with large wheels attached, being used by the Amish.
