Thanks for adding me -- I'm in the PNW and have been casually buying/selling for years, my best find being a Civil War hospital bottle. This one has me stumped! Is it some sort of newer repro or a rare oldie? Found at an estate sale recently and I'm unable to locate another example. It has a pontil, wasn't mold-blown and is completely non-symmetrical. Thank you for any info!

To me it looks like a repro. If the bottom has scratches on it though it could be older, if not that would confirm it being a reproduction.

It's not square, but it's about 4 3/4" "square" x 5 1/4" high. It weighs almost 2 pounds! Thanks, I love the color.

Right, no scratches, which is odd for an older piece.

It would still look good in a window though. And if you want to sell it, people will still buy them for aesthetic purposes.

It is a modern repro. It’s copying a loaf of bread bottle. European 18th century
