I picked up this nice little Mug the other day, not really knowing too much about it, other then the 8 dollar price was fair. It only stands 3.75" tall, and is really nicely decorated. It had the look of some White's of Utica pieces I had seen with the beading and bark like texture to the center. Upon returning home I looked online at the mugs made by White's, and found none that match, or are close. Can anyone tell me what the motto across the front translates to, or where the mug may have been made? I can find no maker's mark on it. Here are pictures from all sides. Any thoughts welcome.

the Weir Pottery Company of Monmouth Illinois also made many pieces that were similar to Whites of this style. But I still lean to Utica as the maker of this one.

Thanks for your opinion Al. The base has the #507 stamped in it. Here's a close up of the stamp in the outside rim over the handle.
