wichester bottle

I recently found a winchester bottle.. I dont have a pc yet but i will soon. Its about five inches by two and a half and one and a half thick. It has a plug top and im interested to see if any one can help me discover its origins.....Thanks Mark.

Hi bontalik, welcome to the forum [] .
A mate of mine dug one not long ago, it has sort of slanted text up the front of the bottle. They where a gun oil bottle from the Winchester Repeating Arms Co. and seem to be quite rare, I don't know if they get many in the US though they may be common over there.
It's a nice bottle, has a bit of extra interest from cartridge collectors as well as bottle'os.

Sorry about the spelling of winchester...I didnt even check..
I have a friend of a friend thats collects cartridges...He might know a little..
