I didn't just find or buy this but I thought I'd put it up for discussion. My latest cellar (mine) find from my collection. May I present a 64 oz Holley Mineral Spring Water bottle approximately fifteen inches tall and 4 and a half inches in diameter at the base; holds 64 ounces and a bit more. This is a Rhode Island bottle marked as bottled in Woonsocket. Anyone here seen another one or any other half gallon blob tops?
Semar,
Thanks for starting this thread with your Holley Mineral Spring Water bottle. I didn't realize there were so many of the larger blob tops. I only have one that I can think of so I dug it out of the attic.
Mine is clear with a tooled top and is embossed EVERS - REHM Co.
419-421-423 E. 24TH St.
NEW YORK, with the initials ERC above and again on the back inside a large cross. Embossing is light and does not show up well in the pictures. My bottle is smaller though, maybe a quart size, 11 inches tall , 3.5 inch diameter. I took a picture next to what I would consider a regular , or at least more common size blob top for comparison.

Those monograms on bottles of this era drive me nuts trying to decipher the letters.
That's a nice clean bottle Roy; I wonder if it's a beer.
That Holley bottle of mine is the only 'picnic' size I have.

Hey, Timeandabottle,

Is it true you can take the person out of Buffalo and he still never really feels the cold? ;)

Hi Semar
The letters are easy to see on this bottle when you are holding it in your hand, just harder to see in a picture.
I haven't done any research on it so I don't know what it might have held.
