Nice old stuff. Several seem to have the same type of grunge. Looks like the lot came from a crawl space under a really old house? Curious about where they came from. Johnny M.Got these a few yrs ago.. Looking for any info for them
That's what I'm reading on there as well. Monongahela probably Pittsburg area? PA likely. Pretty early form too, especially for a US piece. Even damaged that one has to have some value.Wow, you've got some INCREDIBLE bottles! I didn't realize how special at least one of them is until I looked more closely at it, that one on the right is (I think) an Old Monongahela Rye Whiskey bottle, sealed bottles of that era from the US are not the sort of thing you come across very often. What a shame that it's got a hole in the base. Can you post pictures showing the seals on the other ones? I can't make any of them out from the photos. You've got some very eary bottles, I'd guess late 18th century to mid 19th century, but these are far from my area of knowledge so hopefully someone else can be of more help.
Wow, great bottles. I particularly like the torpedo bottle. I'm wondering where it was made. I would love to see what the bottoms of those bottles look like. RoyGot these a few yrs ago.. Looking for any info for them
