Embossed on the bottom…. National Potteries Glass Division 1162
According to my online research this is a tobacco jar from 1950’s made from depression glass. (was thinking it was made in 1962.)
What is the meaning of 1162?

I think it may be a whiskey bottle. It’s just over 17” tall, embossed eagle and stars on both side, has “FULL GALLON” and “FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS……”
