Old Soda Bottles Birmingham, Al.

Email a list of brands on your Birmingham sodas and I can tell you what's rare or not. We used to dig those 1920's Surprise sodas with the lion at the old Woodlawn dump where I-20 went through near the airport. I started collecting in Birmingham in 1969. Dennis

Stolen Celery Cola Bottle

The Smyrna, Georgia, police department never returned my call. I presume they will do nothing since I have the bottle back.

Are any Coke people around?

A lot of soda bottles have the script name of the drink or initials of the bottler if not a brand name. The early soda crates were designed with false bottoms and holes so the bottles could be stored upside down. With the names on the bottom a route salesman could quickly see that he was picking...

a different christo cola

I had one of these Christo's years ago and thought it pretty rare. I think it may be from Richmond where Christo-Cola and Ginger was manufactured by the Christian Brothers Manufacturing Co. The only rarer one is the half gallon fruit jar embossed Christo Ginger Ale that contained fountain syrup...
