Both of these bottles were bought over the internet. I knew there was an Oswego German Brewing Company and have seen a picture of one on Bruce Mobley's site but not in this color. It has some damage and case wear, but I don't have an example from this brewery and it has that great color. The soda bottle is from a short lived Kansas City soda works, Westport Carbonating Works. It was open for less than ten years from like 1915 to 1925. The owner was a veteran of the Spanish-American War and spent quite a while in the Philippine Islands and later became a lawyer in Kansas City. I have a really beat up example of this bottle and this one is much nicer. It was made by Obear-Nestor so there is a good chance it was also made in Kansas City. The third picture shows the difference in color to a typical amber bottle.
