I WAS METAL DETECTING A 1800,S GHOST TOWN THE TELEGRAPH POLE WAS STILL STANDING I GOT POLE AND INSULATOR

I Never Saw A Rubber Insulator ,Thanks For Showing Us .

Looks like the ones they used in the '40s to '60s to replace insulators in high-breakage areas (i'e' where people kept using them for target practice).

Never saw a rubber insulator. Ghost town! That sounds like a great spot to detect. Very nice stuff terry.
