I went out last weekend to do some searching for dumps and came across a habitat deforestation project which uncovered brush from a large 1940s farm dump! Got a nice haul, but only cleaned a couple things. I also found one of the best condition acl bottles I've ever dug! Its a white labeled swimsuit girl 7up from Norwich, Conn!

Here it is before cleaning in the bucket (Came out of the ground like this!):

Here are some of the cleaned finds:

Nice blue ball jar w/lid, 7up, and a wool brite cold water wash bottle. In the back I'm holding another dug hubcap (my 5th one!) this time a 1940s Plymouth!

Here are the reverse of the acl bottles:

I can't wait to return! I only was there for an hour and have barely begun.

Thanks for reading,

That bottle is a good find. I never scored one of those yet. Chances are it will not be in such good shape as yours! Going back is a definite no brainer. Good luck PlaneDiggerCam.

7up is nice but it should have some red/orange in the back ground, the cans look intriguing.....;)s-l300.jpg

Sounds like you're having fun digging, be careful of all the broken glass and rusty metal in there though, if you're real lucky maybe you'll find the brown versions of 7up, they're harder to come by and much more valuable. s-l1600.jpg4511531243bfebbe70a368db028e81f0.jpg

We dug a odd one that my friend wiped the dirt off of. It took the red and only the red off. Aren't the white acl's 8 bubble any way? I have one 7up and not too savy as to variations. You have some beauties.

Looks like a discolored square in glass where red once was? Did you find any Beer Cans in the Dump? Curious. LEON.

Yeah, only old German and Schafer cans, I brought home the the three best of those will post pics tommorrow. I didn't find anything else legible besides those and no cone tops yet but there might be some somewhere there.
