Amber Coke bottle

Did coke make a hobble that was amber, I know i have seem the irradiated ones but this looks darker. Look at the link and let me know. If coke made these...when was it? why? and for how long? Or, Is this just another fake? Thanks,

Not for production and not with a city on it either. There is at least one with a large X on the bottom and no city. I was there when Bill Mathews dug it up in 1973. It was a fairly deep pit with lots of local bottles but it is the only one I have ever seen that I would call real. Salesman's sample most likely. I think I know who got it after Bill died but he won't say wheathet he has it or not.

I don't know where or how this guy got that one to look amber in the pic (Paint or some other program) but the grayish hue is missing. I have seen them with amber streaks in them.
