Beware of these. I was underbidder on an identical label a week or so ago, but that bottle was old, pontiled and sort of a stoddardy olive amber that looked correct. This bottle has all the hallmarks of a modern repro to me, maybe made for the civil war reenactor set. Glad I was the UNDERbidder before.

It went off bidless. It will be interesting to see what happens next, or if it's run it's race on ebay. He had one other, but that appeared to be a genuine old pontiled bottle, with a proper lip et cet, not a new repro like this bottle appeared to be. So someone has a cache of these labels and is pasting them on anything that doesn't move...
