This may be a 1920's Coca-Cola bottle as I've researched a couple images. The bottle is broken, but you can see the distinctive curves at the bottom. Bottle scars say AIKEN and SC on each side of the bottle, with "Bottle " and "Trademark " in center. With makers marks too...

That one is much newer than the 1920s. I'd say 1970s-ish based on the base design, maybe later. They weren't putting "Bottle Trade Mark" on until pretty recently. And I think that might be the post-1954 Owens-Illinois logo on the base, although I'm not sure on that, it's hard to see in the photos.

Where are you from? Here's an example of a 1970s Coca-Cola bottle from Miami Florida. All of my American 60s and 70s Coca Cola bottles look the exact same on the bottom. I don't have any Canadian examples from that time period nor do I have any Coca-Cola bottles from around the 20s. In Canada Coca-Cola was bottled in clear bottles during the 1940s and the 1950s and they were probably made in clear bottles during those times in the United States as well. None of my 40s or 50s bottles have trademark bottle embossed on the bottom, but all of my 60s and 70s bottles do in the center. They also have a registered symbol. Because your bottle says trademark bottle on the bottom I'm leaning towards 60s or 70s rather than 20s but it's hard to say for sure without the top half. Hope this helps.

Not sure if you were asking me or Surf Glass Digger, I'm in Ottawa these days. The US almost never got clear hobbleskirt Coke bottles, except for the ones made for soldiers during WWII (and maybe the odd exception here and there). I'm quite certain that the bottle here is from nowhere near the 1920s - this is what US Coke bottle bases looked like in those days, and up until the 50s or so:

That stippling around the edge of the base wasn't done on bottles until the mid-20th century, I can't remember exactly when it was introduced but it was no earlier than the 40s or so I'm pretty sure.

I was actually talking to Surf Glass Digger, but thanks for the information I've always wondered what the differences between Canadian and American Coca-Cola bottles were. The stippling definitely gives it away. I forgot to mention that in my original post.

Here's pictures of two Coca-Cola bottles from 1947 and 1957 from my collection.

I'm not a Coke expert. Almost all of my bottles are from an old abandoned beach front hotel & tavern that closed on the early 40's. Look at my previous bottle posts. Surprised that this bottle was so young. Tks fir the clarifications. SGD
