I recently found a colorless glass bottle, about 6.5 inches tall that is imprinted "Diers & Ulrich" on one side of the bottle shoulder and "Carbonated Beverages" on the other side of the shoulder. The bottle has a bumpy texture in the middle and it is imprinted "Colon" at the base. An internet search hasn't turned up anything for me. Any ideas about the history of this bottle would be greatly appreciated. I will post pictures tomorrow if it will help.

Seeing where you are I'm guessing some sort of soda or maybe quinine water left there during the canal dig. 6 1/2' can't be more than 6oz. depending on diameter.
Some in English means it was for export or US or British I'm guessing. Sounds German so a beer might not be out of the question. I can't think of a beer marked carbonated beverage though
I think a picture would help, I know I'm not.

Ahoy Jon,

Welcome back. Please do stick up a picture when you can. The closest I could get was

This totally unrelated matchbook.

Do I win an all expense paid trip to Bocas del Toro?
