SO, THIS MORNING WHILE OUT WITH FRIENDS YARDSALING IN THE WEST, I GET A PHOTO TEXT FROM ANOTHER FRIEND (ERIC) SHOWING A 1960'S COCA-COLA HARLEQUIN 12oz. STEEL SODA CAN. IT WAS APPARENTLY AT A YARDSALE OUT EAST (WHERE WE DIDN'T GO). ERIC CALLS AND ASKS IF HE WANTS ME TO ASK PRICE. I SAID YES! YES! HE ALSO MENTIONS THERE'S 15 OF THEM IN JUST AVERAGE COND. HE COMES BACK WITH $5. I ASK FOR EACH? HE SAYS, NO...FOR ALL! I'M LIKE "BUY THEM! BUYTHEM!" I LATER MET WITH HIM AND GAVE HIM $10 (DOUBLE WHAT HE PAID) FOR BEING A GREAT EAGLE-EYE. THIS MADE MY DAY!
JUST GOES TO SHOW YOU, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT'S OUT THERE AT YARDSALES KICKING AROUND UNDER A TABLE MIXED UP IN A BOX WITH CRUMPLED NEWSPAPER! LOL!

You got a good deal , I sold one of the ones I had for ten dollars five or six years ago , don't know what one would actually be worth . I still have one left .

Forgot about having a Petretti's Coke book , just looked it up . My book is a 1994 edition . The can books at twenty dollars in it .

2008 12TH EDITION PETRETTI LISTS A FINE COND @$35 EACH. I'D HAVE TO GUESS BASED ON CONDITION THAT THESE ARE WORTH AT BEST $10 EACH. STILL NOT BAD FOR $10 INVESTMENT.

Sounds like I need to get me a revised edition ! Its still a decent reference guide though I guess. I have a lot of different price guide books from when I was buying and selling over the years . Regretfully they are all out of date now .

Yeah, we look out for each other when we can't both be in 20-40+ places at once. He collects old lanterns....camping, Railroad, etc.
