I can't believe it's been all summer since I've had time to dig....I got out today for about four or five hours. I forgot my camera at the dump, but I took some pics of the bottles I took home. Here's the sink full of dirty bottles.

A local apothecary which I've never dug before, a carters ink, and a druggist from Jamaica Plain...that's in New York, I think.

An S.S.Pierce Pure Olive Oil, a Marmelade jar, and a Burnett/ Boston. All foods, which I've found a lot of at this site.

Shards and stuff. That's all I got, but I'm happy to be able to say I went digging again. Thought I'd never get a chance this year.

This is the local apothecary bottle that I'm real happy with . I haven't found too many local druggists over the years, maybe a dozen or so. This is the biggest one I've found. EE Boynton was a druggist in the late 1890s in Camden. His store is still there today, but is known as Boynton-McKay's. There is still a soda fountain there too. I used to get treats in there when I was a kid. I don't think the picture shows it too well, but the word Apothecary is crooked on this bottle which makes it look cruder.

Nice stuff.
The Jamaica Plain bottle is probably from Massachusetts. JP is part of Boston.
