Measures approx. 8.5" tall. Anyone able to identify what this bottle was used for? age? Thank you! :)

UncleBruce, as always, well,,,,,Almost always, [:D] is right on the money. We had these in the "Fridge" as a kid. Some of the ones made by the HEMINGRAY company are VERY collectible and worth a few shekels. Check the bottom for a maker's mark. Yours appears to be a generic type, made in the 40s - 60s and worth maybe $5 - $10 bucks. Jim

you find them in late 1940s and 50s dumps from time to time and there is a big following for theme . I have the one you have and also one with a penguin on it . they also make one in carnival glass .
