Tim, I wish they were from the 60's, but my guess is the 80's. The barn they were in is falling apart and I sincerely doubt if anyone used it for anything past that time. I do remember the squat bottle being around until 2000??? They come in the same look in stores now except the bottle is plastic. One of my old friends had one in his hand constantly as a spit bottle (gross thought).

Anthonicia, do you find many Wilson 3 Centa bottles around? I was also told that the 5 Centa was not bottled there. Any help?

I don't really know too much about them. Maybe post your question in the acl/embossed, or help after 1900 section(s) if you haven't already. ncbred knows a lot more than I do about local bottles, so maybe try him too. Welcome to the forum.

I can't tell you if the 5 Centa was bottled there or not. I've never seen one in person. Is it true none had town names on them? I've only seen three or four 3 Centas total from Wilson and Gastonia during the 5 years I've been collecting. I got my Wilson one off of Ebay on a Buy It Now for $12.

When I go to the Hillsville, Cameron and Liberty antique festivals I seem to see alot that don't have town names on them.
