Well I have to say that this was probably the best two days of digging I have ever had in Baltimore. Started out Sat. morning when I was suppose to go digging with someone who could not get their ass out of bed, not mentioning any names CHRIS! So I decided to go down to the city and have a look around and pretty quickly I found a lot that had been vacant for sometime but now the fences were not down and trenches dug for footers JACKPOT ! I quickly found a brickliner in the back but I thought it was a later pit and a earlier pit would be up closer to the house. I pulled out the phone and started calling everyone I could to get some help to dig this, 5 calls later and no answers from anyone DAMN!!! So I left the site because I did not want to blow it drove around the city for another hour and found a few more interesting sites and then headed home with my head hung low. The thought of this site kept eating at me till I could not take it anymore so I sent Chris a text telling about the site and he asked afew questions but little did I know that Phil had already texted him to come dig so I guess he figured that he was not going to get any sleep with these idiots texting him and as he woke he started to realize that this could be a lot that he has been watching for years. So he calls me back and asks " where you at" uuhhh home I say so he says well I am on my way downtown to look at that pit you coming? Let me tell you Dale Jr. would of been proud of my run down I-95 and 20 min later I was pulling up at the lot and I see chris shoveling like a madman in the brickliner that I thought I had found turns out a mutual friend of ours had gotten run out of this pit years ago and it never got dug. So Chris yells out damn you made good time! I just smile and look at the smoke coming from my brakes on the truck "if you only knew" So I inquire about the pit and tells me the story and says this is a oval brickliner which makes my heart start beating faster because oval brickliners in Baltimore are early 1830's to 50's. Not long after I get there we start pulling bottles and stuff out of the pit I will list some of the bottles here that I can remember and chris and phil can add some of the ones I forget
