embossing reads

Carl H. Schultz
C-P M-S
Pat May
1868
New York

between the C-P and the M-S it has some wierd looking
thing that reminds me of UFO.

I dug this one in Catasauqua Pa in the late 1970's

take care all.............

That's very nice. I'm no expert. Did you check Ebay for current and past auctions? Did you google it? Since it's green and embossed and pre 1900 I'd say it would not be common.

Schultz was a major producer distributer, he put out thousands and thousands of bottles in most of his molds. It could be a rare one but being a Schultz's I wouldn't depend on it.

Nice bottle Id say...

from what I can find that mold is one of the rare ones. Looks like even an aqua one is worth 50 bucks or so. Yours could be worth 100+

The UFO is a pavilion in Central Park, it was a water bottle for Central Park Mineral Spring water. If you search the forum for old posts you should find a "wellspring" of information on it :)

The greens are more valuable than the aqua, so Tigue is probably in the ballpark on value, although these days who knows...

thanx everyone. I'm gonna have to get an updated price guide. I really have no idea what is going on in today's market. Since my last days of going to and/or setting up a small table at local shows 25-30 years ago, it seems lower value stuff has tripled in price and higher quality stuff 5x or so. I got some work done on my tumbler today. now I'm trying to track down pulleys. I'm thinking lawn tractor repair shop or plumbing supply house............ thanx again and Take Care all
