Handled pottery flask from an 1850's privy

...and right on the bottom under some rotted wood in the slop was this pottery flask shaped bottle with a handle. Pics dont show it but this is sort of oval shaped with rather flattened sides, about 8 or 9" tall, no markings.
Seems I recall a name for these type flasks but cannot recall it, any help?

That's a cool thing, does it look like English stoneware ore could it be a local?

Are you thinking "Ovoid", I think it's a little different than the typical ovoids I've seen..

I think they are called "Flagons"

we dug a few

John G and I dug a busted one in Jordan That I glued back together. Mine was wider though, probably English. Cool find
