I'm not sure if this is pre 1900 or post 1900. It was found in a field close to an old house site. If anybody has any information or has seen anything like it, let me know. It has a signature of some sort on the side but its difficult to make out.

Well Tim, I have a couple of them up north, but they both have different hob nails and the both have some broken off. The first question I have for yours - is - does it have a cut shut tool mark in the center of the bottom? I think it no doubt has one.
This tells us it was made inverted, with a pressed up moil of glass that was heated and twisted to a cone - then sheared and flattened on the bottom. This has always fascinated me into collecting cruets. RED Matthews
