I am looking for some help with a pair of decanters that I added to my collection last year. I apologize if this is posted to the wrong section. I just want some more info about the pair, i.e. age, possibly country of origin, etc. They are both nonagonal (nine sided) and they seem a bit oversized than the usual decanter. Aside from that I have no other info other than what the pictures show.
I added a scale for reference.

Thank you kindly in advance.

I've was told something different about the date from a someone in the antiquity trade, closer to early 19th. However what I am more interested in is where it was made. I'm assuming somewhere in the UK, but what I would like expertise on is whether or not it is Scottish, English or Irish craft. Also and this is a stretch, what if any significance of the nine sides. Was that common a shape? I have not found any other examples in a nine side configuration.
