Tough one.
Great color, Sheared lip, Pontil.
Nice embossing, kinda crude.
Looks real enough!

I don't know, Harold, it's a beautiful bottle but the color has that distinctive "Clevenger" hue! It will be an interesting auction to watch.

Its old but its european How old is the question. They were still pontiling bottles much later in some countries.

Chris is correct. This is an Eastern European bottle (almost certainly Norwegian) that Arnstein Berntsen dates from 1850-1880 in the hard-to-find book "En Samling Norsk Glass."
